SouthSeaEyes is a small business endeavour started in 2022 by Nusye McComish, to provide unique, bespoke, hand-made lino prints with high quality products. SouthSeaEyes specializes in original lino printing - using traditional methods and tools to create beautiful prints for you and your loved ones. Nusye believes that art made by a real person, for real people adds that extra special touch both as a gift and as a keepsake.

SouthSeaEyes runs regular linoprinting workshop privately with Veterans Outreach Support (VOS), a charity based in Portsmouth for the armed services and merchant navy veterans. SouthSeaEyes also runs public workshop to share Nusye’s love of lino carving and printing. Through personal experience, Nusye finds the process of lino carving and printing a soothing method to calm and focus the mind. This knowledge she sought to share with attendees of the workshops she runs regularly in and around Southsea, Hampshire. Through SouthSeaEyes, Nusye aims to bring the lino cutting and printing process accessible to all, using a limited amount of specialised tools and simple devices found at home. To this point, SouthSeaEyes is raising funds to create subscription video tutorials for lino printing on vimeo, with the firm intention to allow veteran members of the VOS to have free access indefinitely.
